Front hub
1. Block the front wheels. Jack up the rear of the car and place it on axle stands.
2. Support the final drive with a jack.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the connectors of both ABS sensors.
4. Loosen and remove the bolts securing the rear of the final drive unit to the suspension cross member.
5. Remove the bolt securing the damper bushing bracket to the front of the suspension cross member. Slightly lower the final drive unit on the jack.
6. Loosen and remove the three bolts securing the damper bracket to the final drive housing. Be prepared for some oil to come out - place a suitable tray under the final drive housing.
7. Separate the damper sleeve bracket from the final drive housing and remove it from the vehicle. Remove the mounting bolt from the damper bushing.
8. Push the old bushing out of the bracket using a hydraulic press or a suitable drift. Install the new bushing in working position so that the notch of the bushing is aligned with the protrusion of the bracket (see illustration).
9. Insert the mounting bolt into the center of the damper bush.
10. Install the bracket, bushing and mounting bolt assembly to the final drive housing. Insert the three mounting bracket bolts and tighten them with a tightening torque specified specifications.
11. Raise the final drive housing to the working position, then tighten the damper bushing to the suspension cross member with the tightening torque specified in the Specifications.
12. Install the two rear bolts securing the final drive housing to the suspension cross member and tighten them with a tightening torque regulated specifications.
13. Connect the electrical wiring of the ABS sensors.
14. Finally, top up the oil level (see chapter 3), then lower the vehicle to the ground.
Rear bushings
15. Remove the final drive unit as described in Chapter 2.
16. Unfasten the fuel filter and move it to the side (see related section). There is no need to disconnect the fuel lines.
17. Unfasten the intermediate muffler of the exhaust system and support it with an axial support (see related section).
18. Remove the bushings from the suspension cross member using a universal puller or similar tool. The bushings are removed from the outside of the cross member.
19. Install new bushings into the cross member so that the distance between their inner edges is 300-302 mm (see illustration).
20. Install final drive unit as described in Chapter 2.
21. Install fuel filter and muffler (see relevant sections).
