1. To raise or lower this type of hatch (installed as additional equipment), rotate the control knob.
2. To remove the hatch cover, set it to the closed position, and then use a coin to remove the screw that is located in the center of the control handle.
3. Lift the sunroof panel slightly and press the release lever to release the safety latch (see Figure 11.62).

4. Working from the outside of the vehicle, place a support under the sunroof panel and remove it from the fasteners located at the front edge.
5. Rotate the control knob to the fully closed position.
6. There is a special bag for the hatch cover on the rear surface of the rear seat backrest. Place the glass panel of the sunroof into it so that its curved surface faces the back of the seat and the hinge tabs point downwards (see Figure 11.63).

7. To install the hatch cover in place, set the control knob to the position "open" and attach the panel to the fasteners and safety latch.
