Removal
1. Install the pressure device on the brake pedal (This is necessary to limit the leakage of brake fluid).
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Loosen the brake hose nipple.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the brake caliper guide pins.
5. Remove the caliper and brake pads.
6. Disconnect the caliper from the brake hose by twisting it, without allowing the brake hose to twist.
7. Check the condition of the hose and replace it if necessary, the condition of the brake pads (if you replace the brake pads, you must also replace the pads on the opposite side), condition and fastening of the piston dust boots of the wheel cylinders, condition of the guide pin dust boots, condition of the brake discs.
8. Clean the brake pad guide and caliper.
Installation
9. Move the piston inside the cylinder using the Fre. 823 device.
10. Screw the caliper onto the threaded end of the brake hose, without twisting the hose.
11. Install the brake pads, caliper and tighten the brake caliper guide pin mounting bolts (tightening torque - 35 Nm).
12. Bleed the brake system (according to the relevant methodology).
13. Press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons to the working position. Check the brake fluid level. Install the front wheel.
