Removal
1. Remove the brake master cylinder.
2. Remove the brake pedal axle stopper A, the brake pedal axle, unscrew the two brake booster mounting nuts B and remove the brake booster (Fig. 8.2).

Installation
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Checking for leaks
4. When checking the brake booster for leaks, make sure the joint between the brake booster and the master cylinder is tight. If there are leaks, replace gasket A (Fig. 8.3).
Fig. 8.3. If there are leaks, replace gasket A.
5. The vacuum booster tightness is checked on a car with a fully functional brake hydraulic drive. Connect a vacuum pump between the vacuum booster and the vacuum source (intake manifold), using a tee and the shortest possible length of pipe if possible. Let the engine idle for one minute to establish normal operating vacuum in the intake manifold. Clamp the hose (clamp Mot. 453-01) between the tee and the vacuum source. Stop the engine. If the vacuum drops quickly, one of the vacuum circuit elements is faulty and/or an assembly error has been made. Check the tightness of the pipeline connections, the connections of the system elements, the system elements.
