The sensor transmits the value of the coolant pressure in the refrigeration circuit to the fuel injection system control unit. The injection system control unit controls the fans of the engine cooling system depending on the value of the high pressure in the refrigeration circuit and the vehicle speed. The pressure sensor can be removed without draining the refrigerant. When removed, an automatic shut-off valve isolates the circuit from the external environment.
