Lowering and raising
Pull the headrest forward and move it up or down at the same time.
Removing the headrest
Pull the headrest all the way up, lift the lock 1 and pull the headrest out of the guide tubes.
Installing the headrest
Insert the rods into the guide tubes, with the toothed engagement facing forward. Lower the headrest down until it locks into place.
The purpose of the headrest is to ensure safety. It must be in place and adjusted correctly at all times. For optimum safety when driving, the distance between the headrest and the head should be as small as possible. The head should not rise above the top edge of the headrest.
