Removal
Note! To remove the manifolds, you must remove the turbocharger. The intake and exhaust manifolds cannot be removed separately.
1. Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Remove the engine protection.
4. Disconnect wiring connector 1 from the heater (Fig. 3.47). Unscrew the three bolts and three nuts 2 securing the heater and remove it.

6. Remove the turbocharger.
7. Disconnect tube 6 from the absolute pressure sensor, air duct 7 from the manifold, wiring connector 8 from the electromagnetic valve of exhaust gas recirculation (Fig. 3.49). Unscrew bolts 9 securing the electromagnetic valve of exhaust gas recirculation and remove it.
8. Disconnect the EGR pipe and lifting eye (Fig. 3.50).
9. Unscrew the manifold mounting nuts and remove the manifolds (Fig. 3.51).
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torques
- Manifold mounting stud - 8 Nm.
- Manifold mounting nuts - 28 Nm.
- EGR valve mounting bolt - 8 Nm.
