Checking the calibration pressure
1. The calibration pressure test cannot be performed on a turbocharger installed on the engine. It must be removed to perform this procedure.
2. Fit the magnetic holder with the dial indicator to the end of the turbocharger pressure control valve stem. Create a negative pressure on the turbocharger pressure control valve using pump Mot. 1014 (Fig. 4.56).

Adjustment
3. Loosen nut 2 (Fig. 4.57). Make the adjustment using the knob 3, tightening or loosening it by half a turn until the calibration pressure is reached. Tightening the knob increases the calibration pressure, loosening it decreases it.

Caution! Check the calibration pressure after tightening nut 2.
