Removal
1. Remove the carpet under the left seat and the battery cover 1 (Fig. 2.58).

2. Disconnect the battery, disconnect the wiring connector 1 from the pressure sensor in the hydraulic power steering, the fuel line from the fitting 2 of the fuel rail (Fig. 2.52).
3. Loosen the two bolts 4 securing the fuel rail casing, two bolts 5 securing the fuel rail and remove the fuel rail (Fig. 2.59). Disconnect wiring connector 6.

4. Remove the injector retainers and the injectors themselves.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. The seals and injector retainers must be replaced. Install a new retainer on the injector, and then press it until the clamp is secured to the fuel rail (Fig. 2.60). Tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts (9 Nm).
