Brake force regulators provide more braking force on the front wheels. This eliminates excessive braking of the rear wheels in a loaded vehicle and improves the stability of the vehicle when braking. Since the brake circuits are divided diagonally, the car has two regulators.
Braking force regulators, depending on the type of brake system, are located either under the main brake cylinder or under the bottom of the body, above the rear axle. To check the regulators, the braking pressure in each of them must be measured.
If replacement is required, both brake force regulators must be replaced at the same time.
