195 - width in mm

/70 - ratio of height to width (the cross-sectional height of a tire is 70% of its width)

In the absence of data on this relation in the tire designation (e.g. 175 SR 14) implied "normal" height to width ratio (82%)

H - speed class - the maximum permissible speed of the car with these tires (H - up to 210 km / h (new tire models are not always indicated))

R - radial tire

14 - rim diameter in inches

89 - load capacity characteristic

Attention! If after the numbers 14 and 89 there is a designation "M+S", we are talking about tires with a winter profile.

The letter designation of the speed class is indicated after the tire size and applies to both summer and winter tires.
