The pre-heating system performs continuous self-monitoring and provides information on emerging malfunctions of the glow plugs in the form of a flashing of the corresponding control lamp on the instrument panel. By the frequency of flashing and its duration, you can determine the source of the malfunction.
If the tips are burnt, the glow plugs should be replaced with new ones.
If the contacts stick, replace the relay.
In the event of a wire break, check the presence of voltage using the electrical circuit diagrams. If there is voltage, check the relay is working.
Malfunction "high current" indicates a short circuit in the electrical circuit of the preheater. Check for voltage.
