Replacing the air filter element

The paper filter must be replaced every 30,000 km. If heavily soiled, the filter must be cleaned or replaced.

Disconnect the hose going to the intake manifold from the filter.

Open the band holder on the filter housing.

Pull the filter housing forward and remove the filter element upwards.

Close the inlet with a clean, lint-free cloth. Wipe the filter housing thoroughly inside and out.

To clean the filter element, gently tap it on a hard surface with the dirty side down. Install a cleaned or new element, having previously removed a rag from the inlet.

Attention! Do not wet the filter element with petrol or oil!

Fasten the front of the filter with a band holder.

Connect hose.
