The computer detects failures in the injection and ignition system, such as, for example, failed sensors or unreliable contacts. These faults are recorded in the computer's memory. At the same time, the control lamp on the instrument panel lights up, indicating a malfunction. If no new faults are noticed, the lamp goes out, but the fault code is stored in memory. After the end of the trip, this code can be recalled from memory using the diagnostic connector and a special tool.
Attention! If the battery is disconnected from the vehicle's on-board network for more than 10 seconds, the trouble codes in the computer's memory are erased. If the malfunction is not confirmed after 20 subsequent engine starts, the record of it is erased from the computer's memory.
All injection systems have stable performance and require almost no maintenance.
