The oil temperature should be measured at a distance of 10 mm from the bottom of the oil sump. To do this, a probe is inserted into the measurement hole until it touches the bottom of the crankcase and is removed by 10 mm.
To prevent suction through the measuring hole of air, it is closed with a rubber stopper.
Attention! The oil temperature depends on the engine load. For an overloaded engine, it can reach 150°C.
