Glass replacement
1. If required, the mirror glass can be removed for replacement without removing the mirror housing. On models with power mirrors, disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Using a screwdriver as a lever, carefully remove the glass from the ball joint and, where applicable, disconnect the heater wires from the glass. Be careful not to break the glass (see illustration).
3. To install, simply slide the glass onto the ball joint, making sure the heater wires are attached (where applicable).
