Door window regulator — removal and installation

The location of the windows of the front door

Removing

1. Remove the door upholstery and protective film.

2. When removing the front power window on models with an airbag, remove the side airbag sensor bracket.



3. Using adhesive tape, secure the glass in the open position.

4. On models with power windows, disconnect the power window electrical connector.



5. Mark the position of the glass guide adjusting screw and remove the screw.



6. Drill out the window mount rivets and



7. Remove the lever from the channel on the base of the glass.





8. Remove window lifter from door (in the photo on the left is the window regulator of the front door, in the photo on the right is the rear).

Installation

1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Install the power window with new rivets.



2. Loosen the power window rivets with the special tool.
