Wheel alignment measurement

After a hard curb contact, an accident, certain repairs to the front axle suspension, or just in a suspicious case, the wheel alignment is measured. But this is done only on an optical stand to check the installation of steered wheels. When measuring, the wheel suspension and steering parts should not have too large gaps. The following should be taken into account:

The tire pressure should be the same as that set for the vehicle at full load.

Replace worn tires before measuring.

The rims and sides of the rims must be in perfect condition.

«Under load» means: both front seats carry a load of 70 kg, the fuel tank is half full.

Shake the vehicle vigorously several times before measuring.
