Removing the radio
Our descriptions are based on factory installation. For anti-theft coded radios, first of all make sure you have the code number.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the four 1.5mm hexagon socket head screws in the radio front plate.
Insert the release yoke into the four holes (sometimes included in radio mounting kit) and remove the radio from the console cutout.
Or insert four suitable nails or wire pins into the holes and use them to release the mounting springs. Take out the radio.
Before mounting, remove the release bracket. To do this, use a small screwdriver to squeeze the mounting clips on the side of the radio.
When mounting, press the radio receiver into the mounting hole so that the mounting springs can enter the grooves.
If the radio has an anti-theft code, then enter the code number in accordance with the instruction manual.
Left: Before the radio can be dismantled, four screws with 1.5 mm hexagon sockets must be unscrewed from the decorative panel of the radio.
On right: insert the release bracket into the four holes and remove the radio from the cutout.
Tips: The anti-theft code must be entered after every power outage - after disconnecting the battery, changing the radio fuse, or disconnecting the power supply.
Never disconnect the power cord while the radio is on. It may be difficult to re-enter the anti-theft code.
