Salon lamp
Soffit lamp (10 W, length 41 mm, DIN form K) should be lit when the doors are open and the switch is in the appropriate position. Current flows to it constantly.
Disconnect the battery ground wire or remove the interior lamp fuse, otherwise there is a risk of a short circuit.
Press the lamp housing out of the cutout in the ceiling. To do this, you need strong nails, a wide screwdriver or a flat-handled spoon.
Vehicles without reading lights: Remove the spotlight from the mounting tabs.
Before installing a new lamp, slightly press the mounting tabs together.
On vehicles with reading lights: Disconnect the wire connector.
When installing an incandescent lamp, remove the cover from the latches.
For a reading light, you need a 5W glass base lamp.
Door contact switch for interior lighting
The interior lamp on the Vectra should be lit when the door is open. When the door is closed, it lights up if the switch is turned. If the interior lamp does not light up, then the door contact switch may be faulty. It creates contact with the mass of the interior lamp, which is constantly energized, and thereby closes the electrical circuit - the lamp can burn. Malfunctions of the door contact switch may occur if:
- the push pin of the switch is stuck in the guide or it is bent. Replace switch;
- the wire connector is disconnected from the switch. For a better grip on the connector, bend it slightly and reinsert it.
The door contact switch itself is screwed to the door post with only one screw. When dismantling, unscrew the screw and remove the switch.

Trunk light
The luggage compartment lighting equipment consists of one 10-watt soffit lamp, 41 mm long, form K according to DIN standard. It is located on the left side of the trunk. The light is connected to ground through a contact switch in the rear cover.

Put your hand through the hole under the interior lamp and press the lamp out of the lining.
