Unscrew the cap on the test lead of the fuel distribution pipe. Operate the starter briefly. The fuel pump is running and pressurizing the fuel. Have a rag ready and press the pin into the middle of the test lead.
If gasoline splashes, the fuel pump is working. If not, please read the section «Source of faults - fuel supply» Further. If no defect is found in the fuel supply, injection remains the source of the fault. Or, if the pump is running, it creates insufficient pressure.
