Removing the air filter insert

Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air intake hose from the air filter housing cover.

Release the five tie-down straps on the air filter cover.

If the clamps cannot be loosened by hand, a screwdriver can be used.

Attach a screwdriver to the tie-down straps and wring them out of the air filter cover.

Remove the air filter cover from the bottom of the housing and then the filter insert from the cover.

Insert a new filter and mount the cover.
