Removing and installing the HVAC fan drive motor

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal (see chapter 5).

2. Remove the air supply hose to the passenger footwell (see Section 15).

3. Remove the resistive assembly of the heater fan drive motor (see Section 17).

4. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the fan drive motor.

5. Remove the screws (see resist. illustration) fastening the electric motor of the fan drive, squeeze out 3 clamps and remove the electric motor of the fan from the installation housing down.

Note: On models equipped with a climate control system, it is necessary to additionally disconnect the wiring for the fan speed control.

6. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. Check the correct position of the electric motor in the installation housing.
