2. Remove the corresponding wheel.
3. Using a screwdriver, remove the protective cap from the wheel hub; it must be replaced without fail.
4. The hub nut is tightened with a very large force. Before loosening/tightening the nut, it is recommended to put the wheels back in place and lower the car to the ground - ask an assistant to depress the foot brake pedal. If this operation is performed on a raised vehicle, to keep the hub from turning, it is necessary to fix a special lever on it with the help of wheel bolts (see resist. illustration).
4.4 Loosening the hub nut
Note: If necessary, the lever can be made independently.
5. Loosen the hub nut and remove the nut from the drive shaft trunnion, separate the lever from the hub if necessary.
6. Installation is made in the reverse order of removal. When installing, use only new self-locking hub nuts. The nut is tightened in 3 steps - after the first approach, the nut must be loosened by about 45°, and then tightened with the required force (see specs). Don't forget to install a new protective cap.
