Removal and installation of repeaters of indexes of turns

1. Before starting work, set the rotary switch for outdoor lighting to the position «ABOUT» (see chapter «Controls and methods of operation», Section 17) and turn off the ignition. Disconnect the battery (see chapter 5).

2. Using a plastic wedge or fingers, pry off the turn signal repeater from the front (in the direction of the car) side, press it as shown in the resp. illustration and remove it from the wing.



3. Disconnect the lamp wiring connector, slightly press the lamp socket (see illustration 15.2) and turn it counterclockwise, remove it together with the lamp from the ceiling.

4. Remove the bulb from the socket.

5. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. When installing on the fender, the repeater is installed in the hole first with the front side, and then it is necessary to press on its back side until the lock clicks. Check the reliability of the fastening of the repeater and the serviceability of its functioning.
