Warning! Brake discs are replaceable on both sides of the vehicle.
Recommendation. We strongly recommend that you replace the brake pads when replacing the brake discs.
Execution sequence
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Remove the caliper from the brake disc without disconnecting the brake hose from it (see «Rear brake pads - replacement»).
3. We fix the caliper so as not to subject the brake hose to stress.
4. Using the E18 TORX key, unscrew the two bolts securing the caliper bracket and remove it.
5. Using an impact screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the brake disc.
6. We tap the brake disc with a hammer.
Warning! Hammer blows on the working surface of the disc are unacceptable!
7. We wrap the wheel bolt for insurance.
8. Remove the brake disc by tapping it with a hammer through a wooden spacer.
9. We clean the disc seat on the hub from dirt and rust, lubricate it with a thin layer of grease.
10. Next, install all the removed parts in reverse order.
