Block headlight of the Astra model — removal and installation

Removing

1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).

2. Remove the front bumper cover (see «Front bumper - replacement»).

3. Using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the three bolts securing the headlight.



4. We remove the block headlight from the car body.



5. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the side light bulb holder.



6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the headlight corrector.



7. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the direction indicator.



8. Disconnect the wiring harness pads from the low beam and high beam lamp sockets (see above).

9. Finally remove the headlight.

Installation

Install the headlight on the car in reverse order. We check and, if necessary, adjust the direction of the light beam of the block headlight (see «Headlight adjustment»).
